Features of eNotes for iPod

The iPod is a fantastic music player, but with eNotes you can develop even more its features thanks to the ability of the program to synchronize appointments, tasks, events and text notes with the Apple music player.

Meetings and events at a glance

Enable the Tasks checkbox in your notes and eNotes will take charge of including them automatically in the calendar of the iPod. If you have also assigned a date and hour of alert, you will also be able to see these data in the detail view in the iPod calendar.

Check your tasks everywhere

All the notes that have the Task checkbox enabled and aren't completed will be copied automatically to the iPod during the synchronization process.This way, you will be able to check all the pending tasks directly in your iPod, including the priority you assigned to them.

Your important information, always on hand

During the synchronization eNotes will copy all the notes to the iPod, creating a first listing with all the categories listed by alphabetical order. You will also be able to see how many annotations contains each category.

You don't have to worry about the quantity of text of your annotations; eNotes will divide and link them automatically to each other so that you can read long texts with total comfort in the screen of your iPod.

eNotes: Synchronize your data with other Macs

eNotes allows you to create backups of your database on any device compatible with Macintosh, not only the iPod. You will also be able to use the synchronization feature to maintain the annotations created in two or more computers where you run eNotes: at home and at work or among a work group.

Secure your data

eNotes uses the synchronization feature to maintain all your notes safe. eNotes allows you to create security backups directly on the iPod. But if you don't have yet the music player, you can take also advantage of this feature starting from the version 1.3 of the program.

Now you will be able to select any Folder, Disk or Mac compatible device and select it to create the synchronization file. If for some circumstance you lose the file of eNotes database accidentally, you will only have to select the Folder,disk or device on which has made the last synchronization (including the folders or disks shared in your local network) again so that eNotes reconstructs from zero all your notes, including the categories and the images assigned to each category.

Notes in sync

You can maintain perfectly synchronized the eNotes annotations in several Macs, for example at home and at the office or among the eNotes copies in a work group.

In the first case, you will be able to use an iPod, a USB device or any other portable disk compatible with Macintosh.

In the second case, you will only have to select a folder or available volume of the local network that can be selected by other members of the workgroup that are running eNotes on their Macintosh.
